I realize that no two people are the same and tailor therapy to meet the specific needs of my clients. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issue, I will help you recognize underlying problems, fully realize your strengths and adjust certain behaviors and thoughts to see things a different, healthier way.
Columbia University Students
College and graduate school are exciting and challenging times in your life. There are so many demands to juggle! Sometimes it can be hard to feel happy and confident while you manage your coursework, make friends, explore NYC, and the cost of school.
I am pleased to offer in-network services with the Columbia University Student Health Insurance Plan (Aetna). Please note that you will need to contact Counseling and Psychological Services on campus prior to seeing me in order for your insurance to cover treatment. With this insurance plan, students pay $20/session. Please note that insurance does not cover missed sessions, and you will be billed the full Aetna rate ($105) for appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
I welcome students with other health insurance to contact me directly.
I am working remotely at the present time. For future reference: my office is conveniently located about 20 minutes from campus, near the Columbus Circle stop on the 1 train. The exit with the escalator will leave you closest to my office.
I have worked in several college counseling settings, and I especially enjoy working with Columbia students. I graduated Columbia College in 2000 with a BA in English and Creative Writing.
